Lee Haslam - Punch Drunk & Calling To Old Souls - Now Out On Beatport!
www.beatport.com

After the massive hit Lee had with "O.M.D" during the summer, the man himself hits straight back with yet another two monster tracks, giving him the perfect end to what has been a superb year for him.

"Punch Drunk" is arguably his best ever track, with Judge Jules not only playing it in every single one of his club sets this summer, including Global Gathering, Creamfields & Judgement Sundays, but also a massive 8 times on both his Radio One & International Radio Shows. He went even further than that during an Interview with Lee in early September proclaiming it as "One of the best tracks of the year!". If you haven't heard about the buzz on this track then you must be living in a cave. It contains one amazing hooky riff and a breakdown that with destroy any venue so an absolute must for all tech trance enthusiasts out there!

On the flip side Lee demonstrates his unique and electic production style when he teams up with vocalist Tiff Lacey to deliver a more euphoric track. "Calling To All Souls" is a tough yet beautiful piece of music, combining some lush vocals with a superb and emotion filled riff for good measure, making this the ultimate package for any DJ.

Watch out for further work from Lee in the coming months with remixes forthcoming on Fraction, Lost Language, Riot! plus a hard tech work out of the new Out Of Office Single called "Natural High"

2008 truly has been a great year for Lee Haslam!

Tracklist.ca Review:

Another release from the Digital Remedy camp, and another pair of tracks you're not soon to forget. Coming straight from the Boss, Lee's latest offerings showcase his upfront edge, mastering skills and ability to melt genres like no other.

On the A side we're treated to a techy grinder by the name of 'Punch Drunk', and the name alone is enough to illicit imagery. The track lives up to its name, it's driving bass and unforgettable synth driven melody do more than intoxicate, they punch!

On the B side we're to a collab with none other than Tiff Lacey. Tiff's name has quickly become synonymous with trance over the last few years, and although her voice isn't usually paired with an artist of Lee's style, the track delivers a breath of fresh air. With a pounding bassline, her delicate vocals create a poignant contrast that manages to create air and atmosphere in an otherwise dark song.
